On the day 23/03/2023 I used your Atherstone Happy wash.
Whilst it was during the drying cycle, I heard a scratching noise when the dryer was over the car boot and when it was over the windscreen, I then noticed a hard wire of one foot long and 5mm in diameter that was hanging from the dryer attachment.
This hard wire scratched my car from the spoiler, boot lid, roof and bonnet.
I drove my car out and immediately went in to consult with your attendant Nilay. We both went to the car wash and established there was a problem with the happy wash as there was a hard wire sticking out from the dryer attachment which caused the damage to my car.
We both took several photos of the damage it caused to my car and of the wire itself. He asked me to come back in the morning as the site Manager Mel (0403 272 034 would be on duty.
I returned early the next morning and explained to Mel what had happened. She also took several photos and told me she would be placing a report and someone would be in contact with me.
To date, no one has made contact with me which I find disappointing.
I ask that OTR makes contact with me and compensation be made for damage of my car as I do not want this issue to escalate longer than it should be.
I have photos and receipt which I am happy to send to you as proof.
